D & J NARROWBOATS  is a small family business producing quality, fully fitted narrowboats. 

With so many narrowboat builders and boat fitters to choose from, planning your new narrowboat can seem like a confusing process, but with a little friendly help and advice we believe it becomes an enjoyable and exciting project.

We always remember that every customer is an individual with their own requirements and tastes, and we take pride in ensuring that the narrowboat we build for them is the narrowboat they want. 

Our own extensive live-aboard experience, however, allows us to offer sound, practical advice ensuring that every narrowboat we build is user-friendly, comfortable and pleasing to the eye.

We build only one boat at a time, enabling us to give each one our full personal attention.

It is always a great pleasure to hand over a newly completed narrowboat to delighted new owners, often finding that a new friendship has been formed alongside the original business relationship.
