Quality Narrowboats

Our narrowboats are designed with quality and value in mind, including:

• pedigree British-made shell eg Colecraft, GJ Reeves, or customer's choice of CBA member companies

• materials and equipment selected for quality and reliability, using well known brands

• traditional woodwork using solid hardwood for trims, cabinets, frames and doors

• 12mm veneered ply for substantial cabin-side linings, 18mm veneered blockboard for bulkheads (not MDF)

• sprayfoam insulation

• full 12 month warranty including Silver membership to River Canal Rescue

We take great pride in working with our customers to ensure that the narrowboat we build for them is the narrowboat they really want.  We have our own Standard Designs, or are equally happy to work with you to produce your own individual design:

1. Standard Designs:  We have our own standard designs which we have developed with proven layouts and quality equipment which will suit many of our customer's requirements.  There are options to choose from to personalise each craft, and many extras which can be added if required.  For more details click here or click the "Standard Designs" button on the left.

2. Peace of Mind

All our narrowboats are CE marked, fully RCD compliant and come with twelve months warranty.  All our boats also have a full Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) certificate, issued following inspection by an independent BSS inspector.

We are members of the British Marine Federation and the Canal Boatbuilders Association and abide by their codes of practice.

We use the British Marine Federation contract, Agreement for the Construction of a New Boat, to protect the interests of all parties during the whole process.
