Another very individual narrowboat, fitted out to suit the
owner's individual requirements. 57ft semi-trad with oak veneered
linings, solid oak cabinets etc and an oak planked floor to the saloon, study &
bedroom. The owner opted, instead of a dinette, to have a separate study
with desk and full height cupboards. The galley and bathroom have slate coloured tiled floors,
complimented by black worktops. In the bathroom the theme is continued by
the black marbled wet wall panels, giving a sophisticated feel to the space.
In the galley a baby Belfast sink and red wall tiles add an attractive contrast.
Cooking is by Wallas diesel fuelled oven & ceramic hob. Heating is supplied by
a Webasto diesel heater to radiators as well as a diesel fired Bubble stove in
the saloon. Vindicatrix is powered by a Beta Marine B43 engine and an 8hp
electric bowthruster, and has a cratch with zipped canvas cover to the
well-deck, making this an all-weather space.
